Bowling Green, KY – Patriots senior Eli Fischer has been named the Mid-South Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, as announced by conference officials on Monday. This marks the second weekly honor of Fischer's career and the third recognition for the Patriots this season.  

This past week, the London, Kentucky native led Cumberlands at the Patriot Invite, claiming individual championship honors after posting a three-round total of 212 (-4). Fischer opened the tournament with a stellar 68 (-4) before following with back-to-back rounds of 72 (E). Across the event, he recorded 11 birdies, helping lead the Patriots to a strong showing at the tournament. 

This is Fischer's first MSC Golfer of the Week honor this season, and his second overall as a Patriot. 

The Patriots will return to action on April 13-14 where they will travel to compete at the Music City Classic in Nashville, Tennessee.
