Ypsilanti, MI - The University of the Cumberlands women's golf team moved into sixth place Thursday following the second round of the 2026 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship, securing a spot in Friday's final round at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
The Patriots enter the final day of competition with a team score of 617 (+41), finishing inside the top 15 teams to advance to the championship round. Dalton State and British Columbia currently share the tournament lead at (+32), followed by SCAD-Atlanta (+34), SCAD-Savannah (+35), and Southeastern (+36).
Jasmine Points paced the Patriots during round two after carding a 74 (+2) with two birdies to move into a tie for 15th overall at 153 (+9) for the tournament. Ainslee Cruce also sits tied for 15th after recording a 77 (+5) with two birdies during Thursday's round.
Atchariya Thanaudomkul added a 77 (+5) with two birdies to move into a tie for 25th overall at 155 (+11), while McKenzie Trautman finished round two with a 77 (+5), totaling three birdies and moving into a tie for 34th place at 156 (+12) overall.
Ginevra Capo rounded out the Patriots lineup with an 81 (+9) during the second round and sits tied for 61st individually at 160 (+16) overall.
The Patriots will tee off Friday morning at 8:20 a.m. ET on hole one for the final round of the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship.
