Bowling Green, KY – A strong week helping guide #21 Cumberlands volleyball team to a trio of wins, a pair of UC players garnered conference honors.  Savanah Jolly earned MSC Setter of the Week accolades for the fourth time this season, while Sara Zampedri collected her second MSC Attacker of the Week award, conference officials announced Monday.
 
Jolly earned MSC Setter of the Week after recording 151 assists, averaging 10.79 a/s, and 39 digs on the week.  The senior opened the week with 35 assists and 11 digs against IU Southeast, before tallying 33 assists and six digs in the win over (RV) Cumberland.  Jolly added 40 assists and six digs against ninth-ranked Aquinas, before notching 43 assists and 16 digs in the 3-1 win over Northwestern Ohio.  In addition to her assists, the Louisville, KY native rounded out her stat line with six kills and four blocks.
 
Zampedri collected MSC Attacker of the Week honors after tallying 56 kills, 4.0 k/s, with a .341 hitting percentage and 50 digs.  The Brescia, Italy native opened the week compiling a .545 hitting percentage and 12 kills in the sweep over IU Southeast.  Zampedri followed that up hitting .467 with 14 kills and 15 digs in the 3-0 sweep over (RV) Cumberland.  The grad student added 14 kills against #9 Aquinas before tallying 16 kills against UNOH.  She tallied three double-doubles, added five blocks, and nine aces on the week totaling 67.5 points.  
 
Cumberlands returns to the court on Wednesday, September 30th, when they host Midway.  First serve is set for 6:30 p.m.
