Yankton, SD – Leonardo Daley wrapped up his indoor season on Thursday afternoon at the NAIA Championships.
 
Daley finished seventh in heat one of the 60-meter hurdles semifinals at the national meet. The second-year hurdler clocked 8.33 seconds down the straight.
 
The top runner in each of the two heats advanced to Saturday's finals, along with the next six best times. The Jamaican finished in 14th overall.
 
Daley recorded his fastest cut of 8.21 seconds earlier this season to qualify for the national meet. Qualifications were given to the top-16 competitors in each event. 
 
Patriots track & field continue their championship run tomorrow, March 5 with the women's 3,000-meter racewalk finals at 10:10 AM eastern followed by the women's 1,000 meters at 2 PM eastern. Carson Johnson will be the lone men's athlete competing in Saturday's finals with a 10 AM eastern start in racewalk.
