Williamsburg, KY – The second-ranked UC women's lacrosse team tallied an 8-0 record with four wins over teams ranked or receiving votes in the NAIA Top-Ten poll to be named the Texas Roadhouse Team of the Month for March, announced by the athletic department Tuesday.  The University of the Cumberlands Athletic Department in conjunction with their corporate partner Texas Roadhouse are presenting the "Texas Roadhouse Team of the Month", which will be award to one Patriot team each month.
 
Cumberlands has averaged 20.13 goals per game, while limiting opponents to 5.25 goals per game on the month.  The Patriots have bested their opponents in nearly every statistical category, including draw controls, ground balls, caused turnovers, and clears.  UC opened the month with a 13-2 win over tenth-ranked Missouri Baptist, before a four game road swing that featured wins over #1 Keiser and (RV) Webber mad UC 6-0 on the month.  The Patriots closed out the month with consecutive home conference wins over Marian and tenth-ranked Georgetown to put them on top of the MSC North Division Standings.
 
UC has been getting things done at both ends of the field as Trinity Brown and Bella Ricchiazzi leads the way.  Brown, who was a three-time MSC Defensive Player of the Week on the month, has recorded 76 draw controls, 24 caused turnovers, and 19 caused turnovers.  Ricchiazzi has paced the Patriots with 40 goals, 30 assists, and 70 points on the month to be one four Patriots with at least 20 points.  Reegan Hensley has netted 30 goals, while Stephanie Meyer and Aleyah Belton has tallied 26 and 21 points, respectively over that stretch.  UC back line of Hannah Churchley, Jael Cobb, and Erin Bryant combined for 17 caused turnovers, while Olivia McCarrell has made 46 saves and a 4.56 goals against average.
