Bowling Green, KY – Patriots men's swimmer
Adam Geddis captured MSC Swimmer of the Week honors after an impressive showing against Asbury. It marks the first MSC weekly honor for the junior.
Geddis notched four wins on the week. The Dungannon, Ireland native was part of Cumberlands 300 free relay that opened the meet with a winning time of 2:10.73. Geddis split a 20.84 as part of the relay.
The junior followed that up taking part in the 50 free elimination style racing. Geddis posted the fastest time in each of the three rounds until clocking a 21.22 in the finals to be named the king of the freestyle stroke. That time also clipped the NAIA provisional cut by over a half second and is the third fastest time in the MSC this season.
Cumberlands returns to the water on Friday, November 21, when they travel to Danville, KY to take part in the Centre College Invite.
