Bowling Green, KY – Patriots senior Pedro Morgado has been named the Mid-South Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, as announced by conference officials on Monday. This marks the first weekly honor of Morgado's career and the fourth recognition for the Patriots this season.  

This past week, the La Antilla, Huelva, Andalucía native led Cumberlands at the Music City Classic, finishing tied for 12th individually with a three-round total of 212 (-4). He opened the tournament with a stellar 68 (-4) before following with back-to-back rounds of even par. Across the event, Morgado recorded nine birdies and an eagle, helping guide the Patriots to a 10th-place finish in a competitive 21-team field.  

This is Morgado's first MSC Golfer of the Week honor this season, and his first overall as a Patriot. 

Morgado and the Patriots will return to action on April 27-28 where they will travel to compete at the Mid-South Conference Championship tournament in Bowling Green, KY.
