Bowling Green, KY – After playing a pivotal role in #3 Patriots 2-0 victory over #12 Lindsey Wilson, midfielder Laura Bosca and goalie Morgan White have swept the MSC Player of the Week honors, conference officials announced Monday.  It marks the second  weekly honor this season for both players.

Bosca earned MSC Offensive Player of the Week after Laura made the most of her opportunity playing a key role in both of the Patriots goals.  The senior put UC in front in the 11' as she netted the game-winning goal with a strong finish off a cross from Carmen Villa.  It marked her third straight match netting a goal.   Bosca assisted on the second goal as she dribbled the ball up the field, ran a give-and-go with Nicole Araujo before the defense collapse as she connected with Letizia Traversone on the wing for the finish leading to UC's 2-0 victory.  Bosca leads UC with four goals, four assists, and 12 points on the year.

White collected MSC Defensive Player of the Week accolades after a shutout performance against the Blue Raiders.  The sophomore made five saves in the match to earn the clean sheet. White made a trio of saves in the first half to help UC jump out early, before adding two saves in the second half to secure the shutout. Her impact went beyond the saves as Morgan cut off several Blue Raiders runs in the victory. White had 22 saves, a .846 save percentage and has been a part of three Patriot shutouts this season.
The Patriots will return to the pitch Thursday, October 1st, when they travel to Campbellsville, KY to face the (RV) Tigers.  Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
