Major: Business Administration
2006/2007: Attended Muscatine High School in Muscatine, IA. During junior season was named 2nd Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-District, Silver Slugger Award Winner, and named Academic All-Conference. He played in the WWBA World Championships in Jupitor, FL. During senior season was named 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-District. He was awarded the Bernie Saggau Award and Gold Glove Award. He was named Academic All-Conference.
2007/2008: Attended Truman State University and joined the Bulldog baseball team. He is the All-Time fielding percentage record holder for the Bulldogs. During the summer played for the Muscatine Red Sox traveling team.
2008/2009: Was in his second year at Truman State and during the summer he played for the Tennessee Travelers traveling baseball team.
2009/2010: Attended UC and became a member of the Patriots baseball team; he started 47 games, had a .333 batting average, 49 hits, 10 doubles, 2 triples, 5 homeruns, 40 RBIs, 22 walks, and 4 stolen bases.
