Cleveland, TN – The women completed their regular season at the Lee University Last Chance Meet where they competed in nine events. UC came away with nine top-10 finishes on the day.
 
The top performance of the day came in the final event of the evening where Elke Wijkmans hit an A standard in the 10K. Wijkmans crossed the finish line in 35:54.84 for third overall. 

Abia Kante finished runner up in the long jump with a national standard performance of 5.76m.
 
The 3K steeplechase featured Tarikua Majocchi as the lone Patriot competitor. The freshman clocked an 11:15.48 for third, missing the national standard by just 0.04 seconds.
 
Maggie Buerger came away with UC's other top-five finish on Saturday, posting a 38.36m discus throw for fifth. Buerger also competed in the hammer, where she recorded a mark of 37.83m for eighth.
 
In the 1500m, Alina Boshchuk toed the starting line and posted a top-10 finish. She crossed the finish in 4:37.98 for 10^th.
 
Viola Jepleting posted UC's final top-10 performance of the day in the 800m run, where she recorded a time of 2:14.84. Chloe West followed with a 2:25.98 for 16^th as well.
 
The sprints saw just one Patriot competitor in A'Yana Gray. The sophomore clocked a 13.26 100m time for 15^th, and then ran a 26.82 in the 200m for 18^th overall.
