Marion, IN – The Patriots completed their time at the 2025 NAIA outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday with four All-American finishes and placed 10^th overall in the team standings for their second-best finish in program history.
 
The day started with an outstanding performance from the Pats in the 4x100. After qualifying for the finals in the event for the first time ever, UC shattered their school record that was set yesterday, crossing the finish in 46.05 for third place. Allie Bryson and Abia Kante ran the first two legs before Lillian Guzman and MaQuoia Raglin finished the race for All-American honors. Guzman also ran the open 400m finals, where she ran a 56.38 to miss the top-eight by just .16 seconds and break her own school record.
 
Kante earned another All-American in the 200m dash, where she ran a 25.15 for seventh overall. This was Kante's sixth All-American finish in her career, which is tied for second for the most in program history.
 
Alina Boshchuk took over the top spot in the program's history after an All-American finish in the 5K. Boshchuk clocked a 17:15.25 for seventh overall, earning her seventh All-American on the track to break the program record. She now has a combined nine, counting a pair of AA finishes at cross country nationals. Elke Wijkmans also competed in the 5K finals, running a 17:46.69 for 14^th.
 
The 1500m featured Viola Jepleting as the lone Patriot competitor. The freshman earned eighth overall for All-American with a 4:32.01 finish.
 
Cumberlands scored 22 points on the day for 10^th in the team standings. British Columbia took first with 105 points while life and William Carey scored 77 and 53 points to round out the top three.
 
That concludes the 2024-25 season for the Patriots. This incredible year saw UC win their first ever national title at the NAIA Indoor Championships and finish the year with just their second top-10 finish at NAIA Outdoor Nationals in program history.
