Kingsport, TN – For the second time this season, the second ranked Patriots women's lacrosse team swept the AAC Players of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.  Ashlee Baker was named the AAC Offensive Player of the Week, while Koral Hadac captures AAC Defensive Player of the Week accolades. 
 
Baker garnered her second AAC Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season after pacing the Patriots to a trio of wins. The junior set the tone against #9 Missouri Baptist tallying four goals and four assists in the game for a team-best eight points.  She tallied six of her points in the first half as UC won 19-6 in a game that was called after the third quarter.  Baker followed that up accounting for 60% of the Pats offense as UC earned the 10-9 win over #3 SCAD.  The Las Vegas, NV native netted five goals and dished out an assist on the game-winning goal in the victory. In their AAC opener, Baker opened the game with a hat trick, while dishing out five assists in the 23-4 win over Truett McConnell.  Baker leads the NAIA with 36 assists and 78 points, while her 42 goals rank second in the country.

Hadac garnered AAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after anchoring Cumberlands to a trio of wins.  The senior was vital to holding each of UC's opponents to their lowest goal total of the season, while the Patriots earned a pair of top-10 wins.  Hadac opened the week with four caused turnovers and three ground balls against the #9 Spartans.  She followed that up with three draw controls, three ground balls and a pair of key caused turnovers as the Patriots earned the road win over #3 SCAD.  The Rosemount, MN native capped off her week with three ground balls and a caused turnover against Truett McConnell.  Hadac now has tallied a NAIA-best 28 caused turnovers, while her 40 ground balls ranked second in the NAIA.
 
The Patriots return to the field Saturday, March 28th, when they return home to face Columbia.  The opening draw control is set for 12 p.m. with live video available here.
