Bowling Green, KY – Coming off a strong performance against a pair of top-five opponents, Patriots goalie Morgan White as captured the MSC Defensive Player of the Week honors, conference officials announced Monday. 

White recorded eight saves and a shutout over UC's two matches on the week.  The Louisville, KY native opened the week making five saves, including a trio at point-blank range to hold #4 Marian scoreless for her second clean sheet on the year. Her performance was pivotal as the Knights came into the match averaging 5.33 goals per match. 

The sophomore followed that up by making three saves as the Patriots earned a 1-1 draw against #5 Indiana Wesleyan, who had outscored their opponents 17-0 prior to that game.  In addition to her saves, White made several pivotal plays to thwart promising attacks from the opponents.
