Ben Kendrick is one of the most decorated men’s golfer in program history. Ben was a three-time Mid-South Conference Player of the Year, 2x NAIA All-American, and 2x NAIA All-Tournament team selection. Kendrick holds the program record for lowest season average at 71.65, which he set during the 2016-17 season, while he holds the lowest round individual records for 18 holes (64), 36 holes (135), and 54 holes (205). Throughout his career, Kendrick won seven tournaments, which is fifth most in program history. After walking on at UC, Ben earned MSC Second-Team All-Conference honors as a freshman, before posting a trio of top-ten finishes during his sophomore campaign, including breaking out at the 2016 MSC Tournament Championship where he pulled away from the field to win by eight strokes. Kendrick followed that up with four wins and nine top-five finishes during the 2016-17 season that included winning a three-hole playoff to earn Medalist honors at the MSC Championship. Kendrick carded a 290 (+2) to finish runner-up at the NAIA National Championship, posting the highest individual national finish in program history. Kendrick capped off his career with two wins and eight top-five finishes during his senior campaign. After earning Medalist honors at the MSC Tournament Championship, he became just the second player in MSC history to be named Player of the Year three times. Kendrick closed out his career placing third at the 2018 NAIA Championship after carding a 281 (-3). Kendrick graduated from UC in 2018 with a degree in biology with a minor in chemistry.
