Isabella Dale is one of the most accomplished women’s tennis players to come through the Patriots program.  In her time at UC, Dale compiled a 40-10 singles record, including an impressive 18-2 mark in conference matches, to go along with a 28-28 record at #1 doubles.  She was the 2017 Mid-South Conference Player of the Year, a three-time NAIA All-American, and a three-time MSC First Team All-Conference selection.  Dale won the ITA Regionals singles title three consecutive years, qualifying her for the ITA Cup each fall.  The Invercargill, New Zealand native was an NAIA All-American Honorable Mention in 2015, before earning NAIA First Team All-American accolades in both 2016 and 2017, making her the first multi-time First Team All-American in program history.  During the 2017 season, Dale went 17-1 in singles and 14-6 in doubles to help the Patriots go 16-9 overall and qualify for the 2017 NAIA National Championship. Dale’s performance throughout her time in Williamsburg helped her as she was named the Patriots women’s tennis player of the decade.  Dale graduated from UC in December 2017 with a double major in journalism and psychology.
