Christina Klouda is one of the most accomplished women’s swimmers to come through the Patriots program. Klouda is the only four-time Mid-South Conference Swimmer of the Year in program history, captured a pair of NAIA national titles, was a 22x CSCAA All-American, and is a 17x NAIA All-American. Over her career, Christina was a five-time school record holder, a 19x MSC Champion, and became the first swimmer in the history of the MSC to capture the conference title in the same event at four straight championships, which she did in both the 200 back and the 400 IM.  Additionally, Klouda excelled in the water as well as the classroom leading her to be the 2019 Mid-South Conference Student-Athlete of the Year, a two-time CoSIDA At-Large Team Member of the Year, and 2019 NAIA CoSIDA Academic All-America of the Year, becoming the only Patriot student-athlete to earn that honor.

Klouda made an immediate impact for Cumberlands upon arriving in Williamsburg.  During her freshman year, Christina earned five All-Conference honors, including four conference titles en route to being named the 2016 MSC Swimmer of the Year along with MSC Freshman of the Year honors. She followed that up earning five CSCAA All-American accolades at the NAIA National Championships.  Klouda continued her success her sophomore season, winning all three of her individual events during the conference championship and being a 6x All-Conference honoree to earn MSC Swimmer of the Year honors.  Christina followed that up by capturing six CSCAA All-American honors, including placing third in both 200 IM and 400 IM at the 2017 NAIA Championships.  During her junior year, Klouda captured her third MSC Swimmer of the Year title to go along with seven all-conference honors.  At the 2018 national championships, Christina was a seven-time NAIA All-American finishing as the national runner-up in the 200 back and part of UC’s 800 free relay, while posting four third place finishes. Klouda’s senior season, 2018-19, was her best as she captured seven conference titles to notch her conference record fourth MSC Swimmer of the Year title.  At the 2019 NAIA National Championships, Christina won the 200 back national title and was part of Cumberlands 400 medley relay, which is the only relay to win a national title in program history.  She closed out the championships as a seven-time NAIA All-American. Christina holds five school records and her versatility has her ranked with a top-five time in six different events.
