Tony Pietrowski, the son of Paul and Betsy Pietrowski, was born and raised in Corbin, Kentucky.  During high school, he was selected All-state first team and runner-up for Mr. Basketball.  He graduated from Corbin High School in 1994.  

In 136 games played at Cumberland, Tony had 654 assists and remains the career assists leader.  With 233 assists in 38 games during the 1996-97 season, he ranks 6th all-time in single season assists.  He is 9th all-time for single season steals with 62 steals in 33 games of the 1998-99 season.  While playing Campbellsville in the 1995 KIAC Tournament, he scored 28 points and is tied 5th all-time for most points scored during a game.  Perhaps most impressive among his career statistics, Tony is one of only two players in school history to accumulate over 1000 (1439) points, 500 (591) rebounds, 300 (654) assists, and 200 (214) steals.  He earned two degrees from Cumberland, a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing Education and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education.

For sixteen years, Tony has been a business teacher at Corbin High School.  He is in his fifteenth season as head basketball coach of the Corbin Runnin' Redhounds.  Under his leadership, the Redhounds have won 9 district titles, 3 regional titles, and made 3 appearances in the state tournament. 

Tony and his wife, Wendy, live in Corbin, KY.  They have two children, Eli and Lynnlee.  Wendy also earned two degrees from Cumberlands.
